It would
take a whole book to tell you all about me. The many seasons of my life have brought adventures, understanding, and a continuing passion for discovery. I
love people. I have raised a family, seen the world, and worked in sales and
business. I have worked as a certified graphologist since 1974, conducting
workshops at libraries, schools, cruise ships, and many other venues throughout
Washington, California and Arizona. As a graphologist, I do individual
personality portraits, as well as studies for vocational guidance, compatibility
analysis, some forensic work, profiling writers of threat letters, and
identifying forgeries. All of my experiences as a handwriting expert naturally
led me to want to learn the art and science of hypnotherapy.
I am
certified by the Aldebaran Hypnotherapy School in Milton, WA,where I studied
with Joni Wiley and the well-known hypnotherapist Roy Hunter, author of Hypnosis
for Inner Conflict Resolution: Introducing Parts Therapy and The Art of
Hypnosis. I consider the famous hypnotist Milton H. Erickson one of my greatest
influences.
My
experiences in hypnotherapy have been richly rewarding. I have learned to be
present and "tuned in" with each of my clients, and to respond to
their individual situations without using scripts or formulas. I have
absolutely loved watching as people see their lives from new perspectives,
overcome habits, find hope for their future and meaning in their past. I do
believe that life on Earth is about personal growth, building character, and
finding oneness and connection with our own selves, with nature, and with our
families, friends, and with the challenging, "difficult" people we
may know. I love that hypnotherapy can help with all of this!
Last, I want
to acknowledge that my experiences with hypnotherapy actually began with focus
disciplines which I have been taught at the Ramtha's School of Enlightenment in
Yelm, WA. Through my studies there, I learned first-hand that it is possible to
change your mind about anything. When you change your mind in a deep trance
state, your life, your health, your relationships all change to reflect your
new thinking. You can also create future adventures and happenings while deep
in a trance. This makes me very grateful. I have been deeply pleased that both
my personal and professional experiences with hypnotherapy have allowed me to
help anyone reach a trance state and make meaningful, important changes in
their world.
